Main Projects
We have a number of
medium and long-term projects which are at varying stages, these are;
- The Brockley Common, a plan to turn a wasteland of over 1000sq metres of
wasteland adjacent to Brockley station into a usable public space.[See

- The High Level Link, a proposal to reopen the station (closed since 1913) on the
existing high-level line, which would give Brockley direct access to Victora [See more...]
- Masterplanning, otherwise known as the Brockley Cross master plan or Urban Design
Strategy is a Lewisham Council run scheme to decide the design of Brockley over the next
two decades. The BXAG has been involved in driving the consultaion from the very start so
that local people have a real voice [See more...]
- Campaign for Brockley Market, a project lobbying for a small street market of up
to ten stalls to be set up in the Brockley Cross area and run by Lewisham Council. The
emphasis will be on selling fresh food, both from traditional-style and farmers' market
stalls. Two sites for the market are being investigated: at the northernmost end of
Foxberry Road, and outside the Royal Mail sorting office on Brockley Road. [See more...]
