The festival has been going from strength to strength since its inception in 2003. Last year it was featured on the BBC London website, and as part of the London Comedy Festival in Time Out. In 2006 there were 35 different events within the Brockley Max festival, from art exhibitions to gigs, comedy, installations and their own radio station. Take a look at the Brockley Max website:

They need people to generate ideas for new and exciting events, and artists, musicians and performers who'd like to showcase their talents.

Additionally, they need people to volunteer for a number of roles:

  • Assistant Festival Coordinator
  • PR Officer
  • Arts Exhibitions Coordinator
  • Music Events Coordinator
  • Other Events Coordinator
  • Programmes/Publicity/Posters Coordinator

All these roles are quite light until May when things pick up in the run up to opening night. Its not particularly difficult, or time-consuming. And it looks great on your CV.
